Marsannay Rosé 2020

The Marsannay Rosé is gentle, its fruity character expressed in country peaches and redcurrant… With a full, fresh, and generous pallet, very distinctive!

Producer advice
To accompany with a meal, summertime barbeques, mixed salads, high-quality charcuterie, white meats, crab, red mullet fish… Not to mention spicier foods from the east, or Mediterranean cuisine. After a bit of aging, try experimenting pairing with desserts- delicious!

Considered to be the golden gateway to the Côte de Nuits, the Marsannay AOC stretches out over the villages of Chenôve, Marsannay-la-Côte and Couchey. Though the presence of vineyards in this village is only attested to since the 7th century, the prestige of these vineyards has been recognized for quite some time. Wines from Marsannay graced the table of King Louis XIV and Louis XVI…

It is the only village appellation in Burgundy to make the 3 colors of wine: Red, Rosé, and White.

From the lieu-dit “Les Plantes” in the lower part of the continuation of the Lavaux Valley, between Couchey and Fixin. Rocky soils originating from the alluvial cones with sandy marls. Nicely-growing Pinot Noir between 10-20 years old.

Aging in tank for 8-12 months depending on the vintage.
