Marsannay Blanc «En Mormain» 2018
Aromatically, these white wines run the gamut of citrus fruits with white flowers (hawthorn, acacia). The palate, often ample and round, opens up to beautiful mineral lines, with impressive length. Delicious in their youth, these wines will reveal the full uniqueness of their terroir if aged.
The unique characteristic of this Marsannay blanc is its roundness on the palate and a slightly oxidative side that brings together the full-bodied style of the Côte de Beaune with the freshness of the Côte de Nuits.
For apéritif it would pair well with fresh cheese, tapas, but also with sushi/ maki! It could also accompany grilled or marinated shrimp! Enjoy with a truffled Crémeux de Nuits cheese for a perfect pairing!

Considered to be the golden gateway to the Côte de Nuits, the Marsannay AOC stretches out over the villages of Chenôve, Marsannay-la-Côte and Couchey.
It is the only village appellation in Burgundy to make the 3 colors of wine: Red, Rosé, and White.
This particular terroir is mostly composed of marls with Ostrea acuminata fossils and white marls, the vines themselves are about 30 years old, with a unique massal selection of Chardonnay.
Vinification in closed tank for about 45 days on average. Aging from 14 to 18 months in barrel (small percentage of new oak).
